To help schools promote partnerships with families of children with disabilities, the Department of Public Instruction developed the Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI) a service for parents, educators, and others interested in parent-educator partnerships for children with disabilities.  is a nonprofit organization serving Wisconsin children and adults with disabilities, their families and those
 who support them. We were founded in 1995 by parents who believed that parents are the
 best advocates for their children.

The mission of Parents Plus of Wisconsin is to support the development of positive parenting skills and to increase parental
 involvement in Wisconsin schools for the purpose of improving student achievement.

The Respite Care Association of Wisconsin (RCAW) promotes and supports through education, advocacy, and public awareness, a statewide quality respite and crisis care system.

The Council's mission is to help people with developmental disabilities become independent, productive, and included in all facets of community life.
