To help schools promote partnerships with families of children with
disabilities, the Department of Public Instruction developed the Wisconsin Statewide
Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI) a service for parents, educators, and others interested
in parent-educator partnerships for children with disabilities. For more information about the

Parents Plus of Wisconsin is to support the development of positive
parenting skills and to increase parental
involvement in Wisconsin schools for the purpose of improving student

Care Association of Wisconsin (RCAW) promotes and supports through education, advocacy,
and public awareness, a statewide quality respite and crisis care system. |

not-for-profit organization run by families for families that
include children and adolescents who have emotional, behavioral, and
mental disorders. |

Family Village is a global community that integrates
information, resources, and
communication opportunities on the Internet for persons with cognitive and
other disabilities, for their families, and for those that provide them services and support. |

Trace
Research & Development Center is a part of the
College of Engineering, University
of Wisconsin-Madison. Founded in 1971, Trace has been a pioneer in the
field of technology

NICHCY is the national information and
referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues
for families, educators, and other professionals. |

National Organization of Children and Adults with ADHD |

The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), sponsored by the
Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education,
produces the world’s premier database of journal and non-journal education
literature. |

The United
States Department of Health and Human Services has a comprehensive site with useful
